But first, we begin with…a milestone celebration in Rosslyn! To celebrate 15 years of District Taco, co-owner and CEO Osiris Hoil brought the original taco truck back to Rosslyn, where it all began, handing out free breakfast tacos to commuters and residents. What started as a humble food cart has grown into nearly 20 locations across five states, thanks to Hoil’s dedication to community, culture, and delicious food.

📋 The Arlington Employment Center has launched a resource webpage to help federal employees explore civilian job opportunities. The page offers career tools, job search links, and local government openings. Access it here.

What’s Happenin’ in the ARL

In Recognition of Black History Month, Visit Queen City. Honor the legacy of Queen City, a Black neighborhood erased in 1941 for Pentagon construction. Queen City by Nekisha Durrett stands in Metropolitan Park as a 35-ft reclaimed-brick tower filled with 903 ceramic teardrops—each handcrafted by a Black ceramist to represent a displaced resident. This powerful monument tells a story of resilience, loss, and remembrance. Visit this Black History Month to reflect on the past and ensure these stories are never forgotten.
